Haute Horlogerie Dominique Renaud (HHDR) marks its official debut with the launch of the Pulse60, unveiled in preview at the Time To Watches fair in Geneva (April 14–19, 2026). This first creation of the new Dominique Renaud brand introduces a radical approach to low‑frequency mechanical watchmaking and expresses the purest form of Renaud’s watchmaking philosophy.

A Vision Rooted in First Principles
Dominique Renaud, co‑founder of the legendary Renaud & Papi manufacture and creator of numerous landmark complications, returns with a renewed focus on foundational movement principles. Guided by the maxim “form ever follows function,” his work embraces clarity, purity and a minimalist, self‑evident aesthetic.
The establishment of HHDR in Tolochenaz brings together a team of watchmakers, designers and engineers in a collaborative, idea‑driven environment. HHDR is conceived as a living laboratory — a place where experimentation, shared expertise and long‑term exploration shape new forms of contemporary horology.

Pulse60 — A New Mechanical Language
At the heart of the Pulse60 is the newly developed BUA2024 movement, which embraces an ultra‑low 1 Hz frequency — just one oscillation per second, echoing the natural rhythm of the human heart. This approach reduces escapement shocks and disturbances, transforming time measurement into a slower, more embodied rhythm.

To master this low frequency, the movement features a monumental 20 mm high‑inertia balance wheel, inspired by marine chronometers. Its large moment of inertia stabilizes the rate by absorbing minute variations in energy and motion.

Dominique Renaud has also completely reimagined the regulating organ, allowing amplitude greater than 360° without knocking, with a theoretical range reaching approximately 700°. This unprecedented freedom greatly improves static rate stability by allowing the balance to follow its own natural dynamics over a longer portion of its oscillation.
 

A Design That Expresses Its Mechanics
The Pulse60’s innovative mechanics are reflected in its seamless, fluid architecture:

- A domed crystal with no bezel
- Lug‑less construction and integrated strap
- Three‑part case structure
- Diamond‑cut or guilloché dial details
- A patented offset regulation system placed outside the balance wheel, offering a completely unobstructed view of the slow‑beating 1 Hz oscillator

The display includes an hour‑minute dial at 12 o’clock, a natural dead half‑second at 9 o’clock, and a torque indicator at 3 o’clock. The caseback reveals a minimalist composition of circular and linear forms, framing the openworked escapement line and double‑roller assembly.

Armin Strom introduces the Tribute 1 Green, a refined dress watch that pays homage to the timeless beauty of nature. Limited to just 50 pieces, this new release brings forest-inspired tones to the brand’s most elegant collection, combining artisanal craftsmanship with modern mechanical innovation.

A Forest-Inspired Masterpiece

The Tribute 1 Green features a striking off-centre dial in forest green, adorned with a hand-engraved grain d’orge guilloché pattern and crisp white Roman numerals. A frosted subdial adds depth and texture, while the green Alcantara leather strap with off-white stitching completes the composition with understated sophistication. The openworked motor barrel, secured by a polished finger bridge in stainless steel, echoes the case design and showcases Armin Strom’s signature fusion of symmetry and mechanical artistry. The 38 mm stainless steel case, with anti-reflective sapphire crystals front and back, ensures optimal clarity and elegance.

Exceptional Performance

At the heart of the Tribute 1 Green is the manual-winding Manufacture Caliber AMW21, offering an impressive 100-hour power reserve. This is made possible by the brand’s patented equal force barrel, designed for efficiency and compactness. Operating at 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz), the movement reflects Armin Strom’s technical mastery, with 97% of components produced in-house.

Haute Horlogerie, Hand-Finished

Every Tribute 1 Green is a testament to traditional watchmaking. The case features brushed and polished surfaces, finished entirely by hand. Inside, the movement is decorated with Geneva stripes, circular graining, and a mirror-polished finger bridge, all executed by Armin Strom’s skilled artisans.

True to the brand’s commitment to excellence, each watch is assembled twice—once for mechanical precision and again after decoration—to ensure the highest standards of performance and aesthetics.

Arnold & Son presents two new evocative versions of its ultra-thin HM model, featuring dials crafted from Namibian pietersite. Often called the "stone of storms," this decorative mineral belongs to the chalcedony family and was first discovered by Sid Pieters in the early 1960s. Each unique dial displays delicate, swirling patterns that recall the turbulent skies and foaming waves of Cornwall, the English birthplace of founder John Arnold. This design pays tribute to the ingenuity of the legendary watchmaker while celebrating the spirit of those who maintain their course in a challenging world.

The designation "HM" was intentionally chosen to reflect the watch's focus on displaying only hours and minutes, while simultaneously serving as a historical nod to the British Royal Navy. In naval tradition, HM stands for "His or Her Majesty’s," a title that appeared in the 17th century and was later formalized as HMS. By transposing this reference to watchmaking, Arnold & Son connects the precision of modern horology with England's maritime history, specifically the era when John Arnold’s marine chronometers enabled the exploration of new lands.

Encased in a choice of 18-carat red gold or stainless steel, the HM Pietersite is a masterpiece of elegance and restraint. The case measures a refined 39.5 mm in diameter with a remarkably slim profile of just 7.82 mm. To complement the dreamlike, diaphanous patterns of the pietersite dial, the timepiece is paired with a matte ink-blue alligator leather strap and a traditional pin buckle crafted from the same metal as the case. These limited editions are produced in extremely small quantities, with only 8 pieces available in red gold and 18 in steel.

At the heart of this timepiece lies the ultra-thin, in-house A&S1001 manual-winding calibre. Visible through a sapphire crystal case back, the movement is a showcase of luxury finishing, featuring a rhodium-plated main plate with circular graining and bridges adorned with radiating Côtes de Genève. Despite its slender height of only 2.70 mm, the movement offers exceptional performance with a generous 90-hour power reserve. Every detail, from the snail-finished wheels to the blued screws with polished heads, reflects the most exacting standards of Swiss watchmaking.

The Moritz Grossmann GMT Guilloche is a celebration of global exploration and fine German watchmaking. Inspired by the colors of nature and the rhythm of travel, this dual time zone watch is available in two striking dial variants: matte green, evoking serene meadows and hidden coves, and vibrant orange, reminiscent of the glow of a setting sun.

Dual Time Functionality

Designed for the modern traveler, the GMT Guilloche features a 24-hour time zone ring encircling the dial. A distinctive arrow-shaped hand tracks a second time zone, offering intuitive day-night orientation. Local time is displayed via central hour and minute hands, with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. A dedicated crown at 10 o’clock allows seamless adjustment of the second time zone without affecting the main time.

Each dial is hand-engraved using the traditional guilloché technique, creating intricate geometric patterns that shimmer with light. The green dial is paired with blued steel hands, while the orange dial features polished steel hands—both handcrafted in Glashütte.

Engineered for Precision

Inside the watch beats the calibre 100.8, a manually wound movement crafted in-house and regulated in five positions. It features 253 components, 26 jewels, and signature Grossmann innovations including the 2/3 plate with raised gold chatons, cantilevered balance cock with micrometer screw, and a separately removable winding mechanism. The second time zone mechanism is seamlessly integrated on the dial side, ensuring precision and harmony.

Encased in stainless steel and fitted with a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap, each GMT Guilloche model is strictly limited to 8 pieces worldwide, making it a rare collector’s item.

With only 50 pieces available globally, this elegant watch pays tribute to the region’s iconic sandstone and the brand’s artisanal roots.

Encased in a 38 mm stainless steel case with alternating brushed and polished finishes, the Tribute 1 Sandstein features a warm sand-toned off-centre dial adorned with a grain d’orge guilloché pattern and Roman numerals. A frosted subdial and matching sand Alcantara strap complete the harmonious design.

Armin Strom extends its golden era with the One Week Skeleton Rose Gold, a new interpretation of its architectural One Week design. This fully skeletonised masterpiece reveals the depths of its mechanics, paying tribute to Mr. Armin Strom’s pioneering artistry in skeletonisation—a craft at the heart of the brand’s philosophy and heritage.

For the first time, the in-house calibre appears in a solid 18K rose gold case, enriching the collection with a warmer character. Rose gold-coloured finger bridges, hands, and applied indexes mirror the tone of the case, while a sleek black textile strap provides a refined modern contrast. Measuring 41 mm in diameter, the case remains compact and ergonomic, while its skeletonised architecture gives the watch a distinctive presence—a harmonious balance of technical craftsmanship and precious metal elegance.

Seven Days of Precision
At its heart lies the hand-wound Calibre ARM21-S, a reinterpretation of Armin Strom’s first in-house calibre. Two mainspring barrels work in series to deliver a steady flow of energy for seven days, wound by two ratchet wheels visible on the dial side—a distinctive Armin Strom signature. Operating at 3.5 Hz, the calibre ensures consistent precision and stability in daily wear.

Inspired by historical pocket watches, the conical power reserve mechanism is complemented by a 3D power reserve indicator, displaying remaining energy with exceptional clarity. Central hours and minutes keep the display symmetrical, while a skeletonised small seconds at 9 o’clock adds an engaging sense of motion.

Every component of the Calibre ARM21-S is decorated by hand, reflecting Armin Strom’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship. Hand-polished bevels, Geneva stripes, circular graining, and finely finished screw sinks demonstrate uncompromising attention to detail.
