To celebrate 17 years since its rebirth in 2008, Moritz Grossmann unveils a horological milestone: the PERPETUAL CALENDAR. This grand complication embodies the brand's philosophy of timeless precision, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation.

The PERPETUAL CALENDAR is engineered to automatically account for the varying lengths of months and leap years, requiring no manual correction until the year 2100. This makes it one of the most technically demanding and revered complications in fine watchmaking.

The dial is a study in symmetry and clarity. A full 1–31 date scale encircles the dial, with a cup-shaped indicator framing the current date. The month and weekday are displayed on subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock, decorated with Azurage finishing. Leap year and day/night indicators are integrated into the subdials. At 12 o'clock, a poetic moon phase display features a mother-of-pearl moon gliding across a goldstone sky.

At the heart of the watch is the newly developed Calibre 101.13, a hand-wound movement based on the 100.1 calibre with an added perpetual calendar module. It comprises 401 components — 211 for the calendar module and 190 for the base movement. The movement features optimised stopwork, an integrated manual winder, and an escape wheel bearing in the barrel bridge. The finishing adheres to traditional Glashütte standards, with untreated German silver plates, raised gold chatons, and hand-engraved details.

All calendar functions can be adjusted via recessed correctors on the case, operated with a dedicated tool. A sum corrector allows for quick synchronization of all indicators after periods of inactivity.

The PERPETUAL CALENDAR is available in three elegant variants: rose gold with argenté dial (Ref. MG-003906), rose gold with anthracite dial (Ref. MG-003907), and platinum with argenté/anthracite dial (Ref. MG-003904). Each model is paired with a hand-stitched dark brown alligator leather strap and a matching prong buckle.

Greubel Forsey presents the final edition of the Balancier Contemporain, marking the definitive conclusion of this iconic calibre. This timepiece is housed in a 39.6mm stainless steel case – a material that has only been used twice before in the history of the Atelier. Limited to just 33 timepieces, this edition will be built and delivered exclusively in 2025. Once complete, the Balancier Contemporain calibre will be permanently retired and will never be made again.

More than a final edition, this stainless steel interpretation is a statement of purpose – it is the rarest and most exclusive case material in the Atelier’s repertoire. Its presence here is deliberate: to honour the legacy of the Balancier Contemporain with purity, restraint, and resolve.

Compact, Yet Monumental

When it was introduced, the Balancier Contemporain redefined expectations – delivering the full Greubel Forsey experience in just 39.6mm. This final edition preserves that feat of engineering and design. Under its high-domed sapphire crystal, the gold dial reveals a rich interplay of levels, textures, and finishes. A sunburst blue hour-ring frames the composition, while a deep blue minute-circle and sectorial indications for the small seconds and power reserve create both contrast and clarity. A large visual opening draws the eye to the in-house 12.6mm balance wheel, suspended above a flat, black-polished gold plate that provides visual depth and dramatic reflection.

The movement is composed of 256 parts, each hand-finished to the highest standard. The bridges are in nickel silver, frosted and spotted by hand, with perfectly polished bevels and countersinks, straight-grained flanks, and a subtle blue treatment unique to this edition. The balance wheel bridge is flat black polished steel – one of the most demanding finishes in haute horlogerie – with hand-polished bevels that reflect light beautifully. The balance wheel itself is mounted above a flat black-polished gold plate, a surface so refined it becomes both technical and architectural.

On the movement side, a black-polished gold plate is engraved in relief with the fundamental values of Greubel Forsey – invisible to the wearer, yet finished with the same uncompromising care. Olive-domed jewels are set in gold chatons, with hand-polished countersinks that catch the light at just the right angle. Every component, visible or not, is treated with the same reverence – as if each part could stand on its own as a miniature work of art.

A Closing Statement – and a New Beginning

This is the last timepiece to carry the Balancier Contemporain calibre – but it is also the first to signal a new direction. With this final edition, Greubel Forsey opens a new chapter focused on small-diameter timepieces. A Dial That Captures Light and Time
The dial is the face of a watch — a canvas where heritage meets artistry. For the first time, the BENU Power Reserve combines its signature linear power reserve indicator with Azurage decoration. This intricate guilloché pattern of ultra-fine concentric grooves animates the outer chapter ring, creating a captivating interplay of light. The softly textured matte center in shimmering argenté silver contrasts with applied blue numerals and indices, while the brand logo and minute track appear in understated grey.

Completing this refined composition are newly designed hands, handcrafted from steel in the Glashütte atelier. Each hand is meticulously beveled, polished, and then heat-blued using traditional thermal treatment. Their elegant curvature and needle-fine tips exemplify the precision and artistry that define Moritz Grossmann.

Mechanical timepieces invite interaction, and the power reserve display is a charming expression of this dialogue. Positioned beneath 12 o’clock, the linear indicator reveals a two-tone bar driven by a differential gear train. At the heart of the BENU Power Reserve beats the Calibre 100.2, an evolution of the manufacture’s foundational movement. This hand-wound calibre incorporates a differential mechanism for the power reserve display and features the brand’s signature innovations: manual winding with a pusher, a cantilevered balance cock with micrometer screw adjustment, and a separately removable winding module. Through the sapphire crystal back, the movement reveals its artistry — broad Glashütte ribbing, hand-engraved cocks, and raised gold chatons secured by blued screws.

The BENU Power Reserve is offered in rose gold and white gold, each with a 41 mm case that reflects the brand’s commitment to timeless proportions. Chronoswiss proudly unveils the Neo Digiteur, a bold reinvention of an icon that first challenged convention two decades ago. Originally introduced in 2005 by founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang, the Digiteur was a mechanical digital timepiece—a watch without hands—that defied expectations and celebrated horological artistry. Today, the Neo Digiteur returns sharper, stronger, and more modern than ever, crafted in stainless steel and infused with the pioneering spirit of its predecessor.

The design is architectural and tailored, with a rectangular case measuring 48 by 30 millimeters. Its sculptural lines are accentuated by sandblasted and polished finishes, while a reimagined onion-style crown ensures both elegance and ergonomics. At its heart lies a rare complication: a jumping hour regulator without hands. Time is displayed through three apertures—the jumping hour at twelve o’clock, digital minutes at center, and running seconds at six o’clock—creating a mechanical digital regulator that feels futuristic yet deeply analog.

Powering this display is the hand-wound Chronoswiss Caliber C.85757, beating at 3 Hz and offering a 48-hour power reserve. Developed entirely in-house, the movement features artisanal details such as hand-guilloché bridges and a sapphire crystal caseback that pays tribute to historic Fleurier calibers. Two limited editions express distinct personalities: Neo Digiteur Granit with an anthracite dial and Neo Digiteur Sand with a warm 4N sandblasted finish. Each version is limited to just 99 pieces, making the Neo Digiteur not a reproduction, but a true reinvention—a collector’s piece and a statement of mechanical artistry.

A faithful tribute to the original model, the Tinkler 1958 repeater celebrates Angelus’s rich heritage of striking watches. Driven by a self-winding quarter-repeater movement, this double limited edition, available in gold or steel, continues the tradition of measuring instruments that built the manufacture’s reputation. From its establishment in 1891, the name Angelus has been synonymous with the chiming of a bell, a legacy reinforced by one of the Maison's first patents for a silent strike governor in 1896. Since then, repeater mechanisms have remained at the heart of Angelus collections, even being adapted into Braille-repeating watches for blinded soldiers during the First World War.

Inspired by this glorious history, Angelus is reissuing one of its rarest and most refined models: the Tinkler, based on the original 1958 edition. In 1958, Angelus filed a patent for a striking wristwatch, which was immediately followed by the original Tinkler—a pioneer of water-resistant, self-winding quarter-repeater watches. The new 38-mm case charms with a decidedly 1950s aesthetic that is clean, understated, and elegant. At 9 o’clock, the crown is balanced by a pusher that activates the quarter repeater, serving as a functional and historical hallmark of this legendary model.

The Tinkler 1958 edition is driven by the new Angelus A600 calibre, a mechanical self-winding movement that beats at 4Hz and offers a 70-hour power reserve. On request, the pusher at 9 o’clock triggers a sequence where each hour is marked by a clear strike on the first gong, followed by a double strike on two gongs to signal each quarter hour. The movement's finishing demonstrates the watchmaker's extreme attention to detail, featuring a snail-finished main plate, palladium-plated bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève, and a tungsten sunburst oscillating weight.

This new release is part of the La Fabrique line, where Angelus continues its legacy as a maker of specialty watches designed for specific activities or professional uses. The Tinkler 1958 is limited to 15 pieces in 18-carat yellow gold and 25 pieces in stainless steel, each paired with an alligator flank leather strap—ink blue for the gold version and saddle brown for the steel. Combining a modernist-style numeral 12 with exclamation-shaped hour markers at the quarter positions, the watch serves as a modern embodiment of a daring yet functional tradition.
