PULSE One: The Modern Mechanical Heartbeat

MARCH 18 2025    |    Watches and Wonders 2025

This is not just a new timepiece — it’s a statement, a revolution, a new era. The PULSE One is the first of its kind, the birth of a new family, and most importantly, the bold next step in the Chronoswiss legacy.

Designed and crafted in Lucerne, this is "Modern Mechanical" in its purest form. Known for defying convention, the watchmakers at Chronoswiss have once again pushed the boundaries of mechanical artistry. For Watches & Wonders 2025, Chronoswiss has re- visioned, re-engineered, and redefined its core DNA. The result? A full-titanium powerhouse that pulses with precision, energy, and audacity - a true mechanical marvel forged by hand.

Full Titanium Jacket
The PULSE One is a first in many ways. The 41mm Grade 5 titanium case is brand new, meticulously designed from the ground up. Sleeker. Sportier. Bolder. Every line, every curve has been reimagined—pushing Chronoswiss into uncharted territory. But we didn’t stop there.

For the first time in Chronoswiss history, an integrated titanium bracelet seamlessly fuses with the case, achieving a perfect balance of form and function. A lifeline. A surge of energy. The most fluent bracelet ever produced by the Atelier Lucerne - featuring a fully hidden butterfly clasp, polished edges, and visible screws that reflect the raw beauty of precision engineering.

A Legacy Reforged
Some things change. Some things stand eternal.

The onion crown - a beacon of Chronoswiss identity - remains steadfast. A symbol of 40 years of mechanical excellence, standing tall in the storm of contemporary watchmaking. But make no mistake: This is not evolution - This is a revolution. A new vision of the Chronoswiss DNA, built for the future, rooted in heritage.

Manufacture in Every Beat
At its heart, the ruthenium-plated Chronoswiss Manufacture Caliber C.6001 drives the PULSE One with pure mechanical force. Featuring the iconic 3D regulator setup and a spectacular retrograde second at 6 o’clock, this timepiece is a celebration of movement, rhythm, and time in motion.

Limited to just 100 pieces, the PULSE One is available in two striking variations, each a testament to Chronoswiss' relentless pursuit of modernity:

PULSE One Sand: Featuring a 4N sand-blasted & -colored dial, radiating warmth and vitality.
PULSE One Blue: Featuring a deep blue dial, evoking power, depth, and dynamism.

Each model embodies contrast and duality - where heritage collides with the future, and tradition is reborn in modernity.

A New Era
The PULSE One is titanium proof of Chronoswiss' relentless drive to rethink, redefine, and revolutionize watchmaking. Strength and lightness. Power and elegance. A material that resonates with the energy of what’s next.

Chronoswiss has never followed the expected path. The Atelier Lucerne is never static—it is bold, it is different, it is spectacular.

This is the PULSE One. This is Modern Mechanical.

Angelus Instrument de Mesures: Triple Scale Monopusher Chronograph

Angelus unites the chronograph's key functional scales—telemeter, pulsometer, and tachymeter—in a single design. True to its heritage as a maker of functional timepieces, Angelus brings together the expertise developed through its previous instruments in the Instrument de Mesures. Produced in two limited editions of 25 pieces, this watch is a genuine instrument of measurement, designed to calculate elapsed time, the speed of sound, distance travelled and heart rate. Using a single chronograph hand, it integrates three functions, each with its own dedicated scale. Housed in a 39 mm steel case, its three-dimensional dial is both highly legible and meticulously graduated, giving the Instrument de Mesures the character of an authentic tool watch with a distinctive vintage charm and singular identity.

One Instrument, Multiple Measurements
Integrating these three scales alongside the essential minute track required a particularly sophisticated design approach. The amount of information to be displayed, combined with the need for legibility and clarity, led Angelus to adopt a distinct colour code for each function. This arrangement is reinforced by a three-dimensional dial construction, featuring a domed centre and outer edge connected by a sloping intermediate section. The telemetric scale is situated on the highest level at the periphery of the dial. The pulsometer extends across the angled intermediate section, and the tachymeter, in the form of a spiral, is located closest to the hands.

The In-House A5000 Chronograph Calibre
The Instrument de Mesures is powered by Angelus's in-house A5000 chronograph calibre. Its classical architecture showcases numerous intricately shaped components, providing an ideal canvas for high-end finishing. Faithful to the great traditions of chronograph watchmaking, the A5000 incorporates a column wheel and a horizontal clutch, both defining features of traditional chronographs.

SÄNTIS BY STREHLER - The world on your wrist

Three years ago, independent watchmaker Andreas Strehler launched his new brand, Strehler, to present his philosophy and craftsmanship in a more accessible form. The first model, Sirna, was designed as an essential time‑only watch that distilled his precision, expertise, and uncompromising finishing. The second model, Säntis, takes the brand naturally into the realm of complications. Like Sirna, which was named after the town Sirnach, Säntis draws its name from the mountain near Strehler’s workshop, the highest peak of the Appenzell Alps.

World Time Concept & Crown Operation
Responding to a collector’s request and inspired by his earlier Sauterelle Heure Mondiale, Strehler created a world time watch that remains elegant, intuitive, and deeply personal. Säntis uses a Cottier‑style world time display operated entirely by a single three‑position crown—preserving design purity and simplicity. The 40 mm medical‑grade stainless‑steel case blends refinement with ergonomics and stays below 10 mm thick even with the added mechanism.

Titanium Dial & Time Zone Display
The titanium dial features a sculptural three‑dimensional texture, individually machined, engraved, and hand‑polished. Its pattern is adapted from a design created with Eric Giroud for Sirna. Surrounding it, the 24‑hour ring marks day and night and rotates once per day, aligning with a fixed city ring listing 24 time zones. Central European Time is indicated by “Strehler” rather than a city, and DST‑observing cities are marked with a sun symbol. Both the city disc and 24‑hour disc use luminous printing, with additional luminous dots along the minute track.

Strap, Presentation & Limited Production
The Säntis comes with a subtly grained brown calfskin strap with contrasting off‑white stitching, and other colours are available upon request. Its steel pin buckle is crafted in‑house, echoing the case’s lines. The watch is delivered in a beechwood box with a cognac leather travel pouch. While not limited, production is naturally restricted due to the fully in‑house manufacturing of cases, dials, hands, and movements, resulting in only 30–50 watches per year shared between Sirna and Säntis.

Moritz Grossmann GMT Guilloche Limited Edition Dual Time Zone Watch with Hand-Guilloché Dial

The Moritz Grossmann GMT Guilloche is a celebration of global exploration and fine German watchmaking. Inspired by the colors of nature and the rhythm of travel, this dual time zone watch is available in two striking dial variants: matte green, evoking serene meadows and hidden coves, and vibrant orange, reminiscent of the glow of a setting sun.

Dual Time Functionality

Designed for the modern traveler, the GMT Guilloche features a 24-hour time zone ring encircling the dial. A distinctive arrow-shaped hand tracks a second time zone, offering intuitive day-night orientation. Local time is displayed via central hour and minute hands, with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. A dedicated crown at 10 o’clock allows seamless adjustment of the second time zone without affecting the main time.

Masterful Craftsmanship

Each dial is hand-engraved using the traditional guilloché technique, creating intricate geometric patterns that shimmer with light. The green dial is paired with blued steel hands, while the orange dial features polished steel hands—both handcrafted in Glashütte.

Engineered for Precision

Inside the watch beats the calibre 100.8, a manually wound movement crafted in-house and regulated in five positions. It features 253 components, 26 jewels, and signature Grossmann innovations including the 2/3 plate with raised gold chatons, cantilevered balance cock with micrometer screw, and a separately removable winding mechanism. The second time zone mechanism is seamlessly integrated on the dial side, ensuring precision and harmony.

Limited Edition

Encased in stainless steel and fitted with a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap, each GMT Guilloche model is strictly limited to 8 pieces worldwide, making it a rare collector’s item.

Discover the Art of Glashütte

Moritz Grossmann continues to honor its founder’s legacy by blending traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. The GMT Guilloche is a wearable work of art—an invitation to wear the world on your wrist.

Celebrating 200 Years of Moritz Grossmann with the TREMBLAGE Gold

The year 2026 marks a momentous milestone for Moritz Grossmann as we celebrate the 200th anniversary of our founder’s birth. Moritz Grossmann was not only a master horologist but a visionary scientist and author who forever changed the landscape of Glashütte watchmaking. To commemorate his bicentenary, we are proud to unveil the TREMBLAGE Gold anniversary edition, a tribute that bridges his 19th-century spirit with the pinnacle of modern artisanal watchmaking.

This exceptional release introduces two limited editions, crafted in 750/000 rose gold and 950 platinum, with each variant strictly limited to just eight pieces worldwide. The soul of these timepieces lies in the solid rose gold dial, which has been meticulously hand-engraved using the rare "tremblage" technique. This traditional method involves a master engraver using a specialized burin to create a multi-directional, finely textured matte surface, resulting in a mesmerizing play of light that serves as a backdrop for the raised, hand-polished numerals.

The movement powering these anniversary models is the exquisitely finished Calibre 100.1 manual-winding movement. In a direct nod to the founder's legacy, the balance cock features a unique hand-engraved "1826," marking the year of Grossmann’s birth. Every component, from the heat-annealed brown-violet screws to the hand-carved pillars and German silver plates, reflects our commitment to "Schönstes deutsches Handwerk"—the finest German craftsmanship.

With the TREMBLAGE Gold edition, we do not simply replicate history; we evolve it. These watches embody the same pursuit of technological perfection and aesthetic brilliance that Moritz Grossmann championed two centuries ago. We invite you to discover these masterpieces, which stand as a testament to a heritage that continues to inspire every movement we create and every hand-finished detail we produce in our Glashütte manufactory.
