Niton

Manufacture des Montres Niton has been synonymous with artistic mechanical excellence since its original founding in Geneva in 1919. Built upon a heritage of ultra-thin calibers, form movements, and elegantly finished timepieces , the historic Maison established itself as a premier technical supplier to the world’s most respected high-end watchmaking and jewelry houses. Guided by its core signature of "ART+PRECISION" , Niton masterfully balances rigorous mechanical performance with avant-garde aesthetic expression. This commitment to peerless execution historically ranked the brand among the top performers in prestigious chronometry competitions and the leading submitters for the rigorous Geneva Seal certification.

Following a period of dormancy, Niton enters its modern renaissance under the collaborative leadership of industry veterans Yvan Ketterer and Leopoldo Celi. The contemporary revival honors the brand's storied past through a design language of functional restraint and geometric purity, capturing the creative spirit of its original founders rather than relying on simple re-editions. At the heart of this relaunch is the reinterpretation of Niton's iconic 1928 digital jump-hour complication , powered by a meticulously crafted, in-house form caliber. By launching with the dual distinction of the Geneva Seal and official Chronometer certification, Niton sets an uncompromised benchmark for provenance, mechanical rhythm, and enduring value in independent haute horlogerie.

Niton PRIMA

The Niton PRIMA represents the opening chapter of the manufacture’s contemporary revival, a creation that blends avant-garde digital layout with a striking hour-striking mechanism, limited to two series of 19 pieces. Built using an in-house manual wound form caliber designed specifically for its proportions, the timepiece embodies a transparent definition of “ART+PRECISION,” standing as the first independent watch to achieve the dual distinction of both the Geneva Seal and official ISO 3159 Chronometer certification at launch. Its architecture reinterprets the brand’s historic 1928 jump-hour display, featuring a central totem layout with an opaline dial, blue metallic markers, a unique stop-to-zero time-setting function, and a hand-soldered copper gong integrated into the inner case flank. Produced in extremely noble materials—platinum or rose gold—the PRIMA stands as a rare testament to pure independent horology, offering a level of technical provenance, geometric purity, and emotional resonance that few modern timepieces can match.
