The dial of the watch is crafted using a meticulous silver-plating by friction technique, also known as silver-plating by grit, which is executed entirely by hand through multiple complex steps involving silver powder, salt, tartar, and water. This traditional process imparts a velvety, matte structure with remarkable optical depth, further enhanced by a unique green-tinged blue hue that shifts dynamically depending on the angle and lighting. Contrasting the textured surface are engraved Roman numerals lacquered in blue, alongside the historic 1875 'M.
