DANIEL ROTH proudly presents the Tourbillon Platinum, a timepiece that pays homage to the brand’s rich heritage and its founder’s enduring passion for the tourbillon complication. This exceptional creation is inspired by the 1988 reference C187 and reinterprets it with modern refinement, artisanal craftsmanship, and a noble platinum case.

The signature double-ellipse case, now crafted in platinum, measures 38.6 x 35.5 mm and is just 9.2 mm thick. It houses a hand-guilloché dial made of solid white gold, finished in anthracite and accented with a sterling silver chapter ring. The dial’s linear guilloché pattern is executed by a single Maître Guillocheur over three days, reflecting the brand’s commitment to traditional métiers d’art.

Inside beats the DR001 calibre, a manually wound movement developed by Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. Comprising 206 components, it offers an 80-hour power reserve and operates at 3Hz. The movement is entirely hand-finished, including hidden components, and features a triple-arm seconds hand—a nod to Daniel Roth’s original design language.

The Tourbillon Platinum is the third model in the brand’s rebirth, following the Tourbillon Souscription and the rose gold edition. It offers a more contemporary aesthetic while remaining faithful to the brand’s DNA of mechanical excellence and elegant restraint.

This year, Angelus is releasing the Chronographe Télémètre as a limited edition of two sets of 25 steel timepieces and a further 15 in 18-carat yellow gold. Measuring 37 mm in diameter, with a vintage-inspired dial and a mono-pusher set into the winding crown, this short-interval timekeeping instrument contains countless tributes to Angelus’ rich history and particularly its speciality in crafting chronographs. Independent Swiss watch manufacture Armin Strom is expanding its Tribute collection with the new Tribute2, featuring a distinctive open worked design and remarkable three-dimensionality. The visible mechanical elements of the innovative movement and the elaborate hand decorations impart an intriguing visual depth to the watch. The Tribute2 – Copper Edition features a mainplate with a distinctive grattage design in an elegant copper hue. Limited to just 10 pieces, this edition underscores Armin Strom’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and exclusivity.

The Armin Strom One Week Titanium Skeleton, an openworked masterpiece now fully skeletonized to reveal the intricate heart of its mechanics, combines striking design with precision engineering. Encased in lightweight titanium grade 5, it balances strength with comfort, providing a feeling of lightness that makes it easy to wear all week long.

The Armin Strom One Week Titanium Skeleton is a showcase of skeletonization, a technique that is rooted in Mr. Armin Strom’s philosophy and heritage. He sought to enhance depth and three-dimensionality while avoiding see-through to maintain elegance.

The 2023 One Week was already openworked by nature, but this version goes even further, removing more material to highlight the movement’s complexity. Few watches combine openworking and skeletonization at this level. The small seconds dial is skeletonized, revealing the power reserve level and the escapement wheel for a 3D mechanical animation. The mainplate and the barrels are also skeletonized enhancing aesthetics. Thanks to this skeletonization, the power reserve indicator is highlighted as well as the cone mechanism, reminiscent of ancient pocket watches. A major highlight is the case back, offering a mesmerizing view of the entire mechanism.

With a 7-day power reserve, this watch keeps time accurate for an entire week without needing winding. The hand-finished details reflect the level of craftsmanship behind its design.
