A Sculptural Expression of Precision
Encased in a 41 mm stainless steel case and paired with an integrated steel bracelet, the watch features a fully openworked architecture. The traditional dial is replaced by a blue PVD-coated mainplate, creating a vivid stage for the movement’s choreography. Every component is arranged in perfect symmetry, emphasizing depth, contrast, and clarity.

Engineered for Endurance
At its core is the manual-winding Calibre ARM21, developed and assembled entirely in-house. With dual barrels in series, it delivers a full seven-day power reserve and operates at 3.5 Hz for enhanced stability. A standout feature is the three-dimensional power reserve indicator, driven by a conical gear and polished cone — a nod to traditional pocket watches.

The 43 mm case features alternating brushed and polished finishes, enhancing its sculptural presence. Beneath the sapphire crystal, a bold black off-centre dial showcases a handcrafted sunray guilloché pattern, created using a traditional rose engine lathe. A chapter ring with circular finishing adds depth and texture, while a dark grey Alcantara strap completes the refined look.

At the heart of this timepiece lies the Caliber ARF21, a manually wound movement that exemplifies Armin Strom’s pioneering work in resonance watchmaking. Chronoswiss introduces the Lunar Chronograph Aurora, a contemporary evolution of one of the brand’s most enduring icons. Since its debut in 1999, the Lunar Chronograph has symbolized Chronoswiss’s ability to blend classical Swiss watchmaking with an independent, expressive spirit. The new Aurora edition carries this legacy forward through a captivating reinterpretation rooted in light, color, and mechanical harmony.

At the heart of the transformation is its fully CVD‑coated dial, which shifts fluidly from deep green to vivid blue as light moves across its surface. Inspired by the ethereal glow of the aurora borealis, this chromatic effect gives the watch a quietly dramatic presence, making every glance feel like a changing atmospheric phenomenon. Angelus unites the chronograph's key functional scales—telemeter, pulsometer, and tachymeter—in a single design. True to its heritage as a maker of functional timepieces, Angelus brings together the expertise developed through its previous instruments in the Instrument de Mesures. Produced in two limited editions of 25 pieces, this watch is a genuine instrument of measurement, designed to calculate elapsed time, the speed of sound, distance travelled and heart rate. Using a single chronograph hand, it integrates three functions, each with its own dedicated scale. Housed in a 39 mm steel case, its three-dimensional dial is both highly legible and meticulously graduated, giving the Instrument de Mesures the character of an authentic tool watch with a distinctive vintage charm and singular identity.

One Instrument, Multiple Measurements
Integrating these three scales alongside the essential minute track required a particularly sophisticated design approach. The amount of information to be displayed, combined with the need for legibility and clarity, led Angelus to adopt a distinct colour code for each function. This arrangement is reinforced by a three-dimensional dial construction, featuring a domed centre and outer edge connected by a sloping intermediate section. The telemetric scale is situated on the highest level at the periphery of the dial. The pulsometer extends across the angled intermediate section, and the tachymeter, in the form of a spiral, is located closest to the hands.

The In-House A5000 Chronograph Calibre
The Instrument de Mesures is powered by Angelus's in-house A5000 chronograph calibre. Its classical architecture showcases numerous intricately shaped components, providing an ideal canvas for high-end finishing. Faithful to the great traditions of chronograph watchmaking, the A5000 incorporates a column wheel and a horizontal clutch, both defining features of traditional chronographs.

Arnold & Son has unveiled its new "Perpetual Moon 41.5 Steel Colours of the Moon" collection, a series of highly exclusive, limited-edition timepieces inspired by the changing celestial hues of Earth's natural satellite. Detailed in the official release document, "ENG_A&S PM 41.5 Steel Colours of the Moon.doc", the collection features three distinct versions—the Blue Moon, Golden Moon, and Red Moon—each celebrating a unique atmospheric or seasonal phenomenon that alters the Moon's appearance and has fascinated civilisations throughout history.

Reinterpreting the iconic Perpetual Moon collection, these new models introduce a 41.5 mm stainless-steel case that balances horological exclusivity with everyday versatility. In a watchmaking first, Arnold & Son has applied a pioneering Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) treatment directly onto precious mother-of-pearl. This innovative process creates deep, shifting reflections across the dials and moon-phase skies, showcasing the natural organic layers of the material with patterns that recall the flowing grain of Damascus steel.

The astronomical precision of the moon phase is enhanced by Super-LumiNova hidden beneath the colored mother-of-pearl moon disc, accompanied by hand-painted luminescent constellations of Cassiopeia and Ursa Major—a poetic tribute to historical mariners who relied on them for navigation. Bringing this celestial mechanics to life is the in-house A&S1512 manual-winding calibre. This movement provides a generous 90-hour power reserve and displays meticulous luxury finishes, including radiating Côtes de Genève and a secondary moon-phase indicator, all visible through the sapphire crystal case back.

Each of the three references is paired with a matching hand-stitched alligator leather strap and secured with a stainless-steel pin buckle. To maintain their extreme exclusivity, production is strictly limited to just 18 pieces per version.
