The subdial, a curved UFO, holds the small seconds and is finished with a blue CVD-coating with hand-guilloché craftsmanship executed inside the Atelier Lucerne. A Sculptural Expression of Precision
Encased in a 41 mm stainless steel case and paired with an integrated steel bracelet, the watch features a fully openworked architecture. The traditional dial is replaced by a blue PVD-coated mainplate, creating a vivid stage for the movement’s choreography. Every component is arranged in perfect symmetry, emphasizing depth, contrast, and clarity.

Engineered for Endurance
At its core is the manual-winding Calibre ARM21, developed and assembled entirely in-house. With dual barrels in series, it delivers a full seven-day power reserve and operates at 3.5 Hz for enhanced stability. A standout feature is the three-dimensional power reserve indicator, driven by a conical gear and polished cone — a nod to traditional pocket watches.

Encased in 18K rose gold, this limited-edition watch features a sculptural movement architecture that plays with tone and texture. A brown guilloché mainplate, rose gold-colored bridges, and a floating off-centre sapphire dial create a refined and coherent composition. The watch is paired with a matte brown nubuck leather strap, adding an earthy elegance to the overall aesthetic.

At the heart of the timepiece is the Caliber ASB19, Armin Strom’s groundbreaking automatic movement. It incorporates a patented stop-work declutch mechanism and Geneva cross within the barrel, ensuring consistent torque delivery throughout its 72-hour power reserve. A micro-rotor enables efficient winding while preserving the symmetry and visibility of the movement — a hallmark of Armin Strom’s design philosophy.

Every component, visible or hidden, is hand-finished to haute horology standards. Techniques such as beveling, straight-graining, perlage, Geneva stripes, and black-polished screws are applied with precision and care. Armin Strom presents a new interpretation of its Dual Time GMT Resonance, distinguished by a dial crafted from aventurine—a material that captures the richness and mystery of a star-filled sky. Formed through a meticulous process that blends centuries-old glassmaking with modern precision, aventurine reveals a surface alive with light. The result is a dial that evokes a night sky in motion, creating a refined contrast with the architectural symmetry of the resonance movement. This celestial texture is enhanced by the warm tones of the movement: the rose gold-coloured mainplate adds depth beneath the dial-side display, while rose gold-coloured hands and applied indexes introduce clarity and visual identity. Together, these elements create a balanced interplay between cool luminosity and warm mechanical presence. Housed in a 39 mm stainless steel case and paired with a dark grey alligator strap, the Aventurine edition offers a contemporary and restrained frame, allowing the dial's dimension and the movement's symmetry to take centre stage.

Each time zone features its own hours, minutes and day/night indicator, offering intuitive functionality for travellers. Operating at 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) with a 42-hour power reserve, the ARF22 unites scientific ingenuity with everyday usability.

Finishing in Depth
Visible through sapphire crystals on both sides, the movement reveals Armin Strom's signature open-worked architecture and hand-finishing. The rose gold-coloured mainplate establishes a warm, luminous foundation on the dial side, while matching gear-train bridges on the reverse side echo this tone, creating a cohesive visual language. This harmony of colour and structure accentuates depth and contrast, reinforcing the three-dimensional expression of the calibre and the brand's commitment to the Science of Movement. On the dial side, the mirror-polished balance bridge, finished with hand-bevelled edges, stands out as a focal point, its steel surface catching the light in striking counterpoint to the warm rose gold-coloured mainplate beneath. Rhodium-coated and steel components introduce a refined metallic grey tone, balancing the overall composition. Arnold & Son proudly presents the Longitude Titanium 5°W Edition, a timepiece inspired by the marine chronometers crafted by John Arnold in the late 18th century. These instruments revolutionized navigation and played a pivotal role in the British Navy’s mastery of the seas.

This limited edition of 38 pieces combines grade 5 titanium with an 18K red gold bezel ring, echoing the elegance of historical chronometers. The Lizard Point Grey dial, with its vertical satin finish, evokes the stormy hues of the North Atlantic near Lizard Point—the southernmost tip of mainland Great Britain at 5° west longitude.

Inside beats the A&S6302 calibre, an in-house automatic movement certified by the COSC as a chronometer. It offers a 60-hour power reserve, a power-reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, and a small seconds subdial opposite. Through the sapphire case back, the palladium-plated bridges and skeletonized 22K red gold oscillating weight—engraved with a ship and sextant motif—reveal the artistry of Arnold & Son.

Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Longitude Titanium 5°W features an interchangeable strap system, allowing effortless transition between an anthracite grey alligator leather strap and a titanium bracelet.
