Mystical, untamed and dazzling, the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Red Gold “Year of the Horse” follows in the footsteps of Arnold & Son’s Chinese zodiac collections. In the year spanning 2026 and 2027, the Fire Horse will set the astrological tone for connoisseurs of watchmaking and métiers d’art. To celebrate this flamboyant sign, Arnold & Son presents a limited edition of eight pieces, housed in 41.5-mm red gold cases. And while the noble animal is ever alert, it is at night that the full extent of its fiery, mysterious and incandescent nature is revealed.

A horse rears on a hill top – a commanding silhouette carved out against a star-studded sky, surrounded by the sparks of a metaphorical fire. This is Arnold & Son’s interpretation of the Fire Horse, the sign that will succeed the Wood Snake on 17 February 2026. For the sixth consecutive year, Arnold & Son is back in the saddle, drawing on the full breadth of its artistic savoir-faire. Miniature painting, three-dimensional engraving, fine stonework and the refined finishing of an astronomical moon-phase calibre: the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Red Gold “Year of the Horse” tells a tale of excellence, symbolism and vital energy.

An ardent design
Behind the expressive power of the scene, lies all of Arnold & Son’s creativity and mastery. The horse, in 18-carat red gold appliqué, is hand engraved. From hooves to mane, every muscle seems to ripple with energy. The black aventurine sky shimmers like a vast, celestial expanse, where distant stars mingle with mountainous reliefs and shadowy woodland undergrowth.

In the horse’s wake, hand-painted golden dust evokes a trail of sparks that ignite one after the other as the animal passes. These glowing flashes reflect its inner fire and untamed spirit. Touches of red and yellow Super-LumiNova, diffusing the same nocturnal shades, transform the scene as the light dims. Under the radiant mother-of-pearl moon, the horse’s majestic silhouette stands out, while the embers smoulder with new intensity. Not far away, the constellations of Cassiopeia and Ursa Major take shape on the lunar disc, completing this dual-faced, dual-display dial.

A noble pedigree
On the case back, a secondary moon-phase display enables fast, accurate setting of the lunar age. The heart of the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Red Gold “Year of the Horse”, the manual winding A&S1512 calibre, follows the lunar cycle with exceptional precision. While a true lunation lasts 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.8 seconds, Arnold & Son have achieved such precision that it would take 122 years for the display to drift by a single day from the actual lunar cycle, provided the watch is kept fully wound.

As for all Arnold & Son movements, the A&S1512 calibre is developed, manufactured, decorated, assembled, adjusted and cased up at the Chaux-de-Fonds manufacture. Equipped with two barrels and beating at 3 Hz, it gives the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Red Gold “Year of the Horse” a generous power reserve of 90 hours.

Chronoswiss proudly presents the Delphis Art Deco, a striking new edition that bridges the design philosophy of the Roaring Twenties with modern mechanical watchmaking. Housed in a 42mm Grade 5 titanium case with a matte finish, this limited-edition timepiece pays homage to an era celebrated for its architectural clarity, geometric symmetry, and creative freedom. The upper stage hosts the iconic Delphis display: a digital jumping hour at 12 o'clock, a sweeping retrograde minute hand, and a subdial at 6 o'clock. Highlighted in a captivating "Art-Deco Blue" lacquer over a hand-guilloché base engraved on century-old machines at Atelier Lucerne, the subdial is beautifully accented by a gold-plated minute ring that adds a warm, geometric contrast.

Beating inside is the manufacture automatic Caliber C.6004, developed in partnership with La Joux-Perret. Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback, this 37-jewel movement delivers a 55-hour power reserve and features ruthenium-plated bridges decorated with Geneva stripes and a skeletonized tungsten rotor. The 17-piece solid titanium case incorporates Chronoswiss’s signature onion crown, patented Autobloc screw lugs, and a robust 10 bar (100m) water resistance rating.

Strictly limited to just 150 pieces worldwide, the Chronoswiss Delphis Art Deco is a sophisticated mechanical tribute to 1920s design reimagined for contemporary collectors. Blending heritage hand-craftsmanship with modern engineering, it represents a bold new chapter for one of the brand's most recognizable models. Angelus unites the chronograph's key functional scales—telemeter, pulsometer, and tachymeter—in a single design. True to its heritage as a maker of functional timepieces, Angelus brings together the expertise developed through its previous instruments in the Instrument de Mesures. Produced in two limited editions of 25 pieces, this watch is a genuine instrument of measurement, designed to calculate elapsed time, the speed of sound, distance travelled and heart rate. Using a single chronograph hand, it integrates three functions, each with its own dedicated scale. Housed in a 39 mm steel case, its three-dimensional dial is both highly legible and meticulously graduated, giving the Instrument de Mesures the character of an authentic tool watch with a distinctive vintage charm and singular identity.

One Instrument, Multiple Measurements
Integrating these three scales alongside the essential minute track required a particularly sophisticated design approach. The amount of information to be displayed, combined with the need for legibility and clarity, led Angelus to adopt a distinct colour code for each function. This arrangement is reinforced by a three-dimensional dial construction, featuring a domed centre and outer edge connected by a sloping intermediate section. The telemetric scale is situated on the highest level at the periphery of the dial. The pulsometer extends across the angled intermediate section, and the tachymeter, in the form of a spiral, is located closest to the hands.

The In-House A5000 Chronograph Calibre
The Instrument de Mesures is powered by Angelus's in-house A5000 chronograph calibre. Its classical architecture showcases numerous intricately shaped components, providing an ideal canvas for high-end finishing. Faithful to the great traditions of chronograph watchmaking, the A5000 incorporates a column wheel and a horizontal clutch, both defining features of traditional chronographs.
