Strictly limited to just 25 pieces, this 39 mm stainless steel timepiece features a finely grained ebony-black dial constructed in three distinct vertical layers. Each level is dedicated to a specific function with intuitive color-coded graduations: a telemeter scale along the outer rim in vibrant blue to gauge distance, a pulsometer on the sloping rehaut in warm orange for rapid heart-rate calculation, and a central spiral tachymeter in soft cream to measure speeds from 20 to 500 km/h. Complemented by vintage-inspired syringe hands and a box-shaped sapphire crystal, the dynamic dial layout transforms a complex metrological array into an effortlessly legible work of horological art.
Driven by the in-house Calibre A5000—a ultra-slender, manually wound monopusher movement featuring a traditional column wheel and horizontal clutch—the watch seamlessly combines historic tool-watch functionality with modern refinement. Every chronograph function is effortlessly started, stopped, and reset through a single pusher integrated discreetly into the crown, driving a central hand that registers across all three scales. Housed in a slim 9.25 mm case with fluid, twisted lugs, the Instrument de Mesures pays homage to 1960s Angelus chronographs while standing as the ultimate culmination of the manufacture’s functional complication legacy.
