At the heart of the QP Balancier lies Greubel Forsey’s patented Mechanical Computer, a 25-part mechanical brain that “understands” the rules of the Gregorian calendar. This innovation allows the watch to adjust instantly in either direction, restart flawlessly after months unwound, and remain programmed until February 28, 2100—all without the need for pushers or complex crown positions.

The QP Balancier integrates 12 indications—including hours, minutes, seconds, power reserve, day, date, month, leap year, day/night, 24-hour display, calendar year, and a patented function selector—into a single crown interface. This makes it the most user-friendly perpetual calendar ever created, eliminating the need for manuals or reset tools.

Aesthetically, the watch is a study in purity and harmony. Its multi-level gold dial presents calendar information in a clear, linear format, flanked by leap year and day/night indicators. The tactile feedback during quick-correction mode offers a unique sensory connection between wearer and mechanism.

Housed in a 45.1 mm white gold case, the QP Balancier features Greubel Forsey’s signature 30° inclined balance wheel, a high-mass, variable-inertia system with gold mean-time screws. The movement comprises 612 hand-finished components, including twin fast-rotating barrels that deliver a 72-hour chronometric power reserve.

Rendered for the first time in a 39 mm 18K rose‑gold case, the timepiece introduces a warm and elegant reinterpretation of the brand’s technically driven design language. Limited to 50 pieces worldwide, this edition pairs the Maison’s signature resonance innovation with a rich new aesthetic personality, blending contemporary elegance with mechanical sophistication.

A New Expression of Design & Craftsmanship
The new Rose Gold edition distinguishes itself through its interplay of warm tones and finely executed textures. The 18K rose‑gold case forms a glowing frame around the black‑gold grenage dial, a surface enriched by depth, contrast, and granular refinement. The dial’s twin layouts—each dedicated to one time zone—are clearly defined by black azurage chapter rings, ensuring intuitive reading while maintaining the balanced symmetry that defines the Resonance line. The rose‑gold‑coloured, faceted and polished hands, together with matching applied indexes, elevate the aesthetic with a luxurious brightness. At six o’clock on each sub‑dial, polished and blackened steel sun-and-moon day/night discs add functional clarity and a poetic visual touch. Completing the ensemble is a matte anthracite alligator strap accented with grey stitching and secured with a matching 18K rose‑gold pin buckle, creating a cohesive, modern, and refined profile.

At the heart of the watch lies Armin Strom’s hand‑wound, in‑house Calibre ARF22, a movement defined by the brand’s patented resonance clutch system. This mechanism couples two independent balance wheels and allows them to synchronise through resonance, a natural physical phenomenon that enhances chronometric stability. What might otherwise remain a theoretical curiosity is transformed into a practical complication: each regulating organ governs its own time display, enabling two entirely independent time zones. Each dial also features a corresponding day/night indicator, making the watch particularly intuitive for world travellers. Operating at 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) and offering a 42‑hour power reserve, the ARF22 movement brings a dynamic, kinetic quality to the dial, where the twin oscillators interact in real time. The aesthetic presentation of the movement reflects haute horlogerie values, with meticulous hand‑polished bevels, black‑polished steel components, circular graining, perlage, and Côtes de Genève on full display through sapphire crystals on both sides. The Maison gérald genta expands the Geneva collection with the Geneva Time Only, a new 38 mm creation in warm rose gold 4N and cool white gold, translating the line’s sculptural language and “l’esprit de Genève” into an essential, everyday expression.

“I wanted to capture the intuitive, instinctive genius and artistry of Mr. Genta,” says Matthieu Hegi, Artistic Director at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, who leads the Geneva collection’s creative direction.

The updated cushion case—neither round nor square—features softened contours, a refined gadroon and a new single, broader lug on each side, striking a rare balance of daring and discretion. Light plays across polished and satin surfaces, while the collection’s signature two‑segment minute track forms a subtle optical illusion as the outer track follows the cushion silhouette and the inner ring remains perfectly circular. The grained brass dial carries a gentle fumé gradient—lighter at the center, darker at the edge—for tonal depth.

At just 8.15 mm thick, the 38 mm case slips neatly under a cuff; both models are fitted with rounded, mirror‑polished solid‑gold hands and applied indexes and tone‑on‑tone calfskin straps. Under the dial, the GG‑005P automatic calibre—Zenith Elite–based with redesigned bridges and a reworked oscillating mass—beats at 4 Hz with a 50‑hour power reserve (158 components, 27 jewels), visible through the sapphire caseback. Chronoswiss expands its avant‑garde Space Timer collection with the new SPACE TIMER GRAVITY, a 44mm mechanical creation inspired by the invisible yet powerful force of gravity. Limited to 50 pieces, the watch transforms cosmic phenomena into a visually architectural dial experience.

A Dial Where Light, Matter, and Mechanics Interact
The dial features a partly hand‑guilloché surface finished with a colour‑shifting CVD coating that transitions between deep green and oceanic blue depending on light — evoking the sensation of viewing a planet from orbit. A striking moon at 9 o’clock is produced through sophisticated laser work based on an original NASA photograph, revealing cratered textures with exceptional depth.

Floating above the landscape are transparent ITR2 hour and date rings that appear suspended in orbit. Beneath them, the exposed gear train is framed by a baby‑blue bridge, echoing the hue of the seconds hand and adding contemporary contrast to the cosmic scene.
