After four outstanding years as CEO, Antonio Calce will be passing the torch to his close colleague Michel Nydegger to assume the CEO position on August 5, 2024. We extend our sincere gratitude to Antonio Calce for his exemplary leadership, dedication, and contributions during his tenure, which have greatly furthered Greubel Forsey's success both financially and in organizational development.

Michel Nydegger is a long-standing member of Greubel Forsey's Atelier who has acquired invaluable experience in his various roles since 2016. Over the past four years, he has superbly led Marketing & Communication under Antonio Calce's direction. His appointment as CEO reflects his deep understanding of Greubel Forsey's vision and strategic goals.

Antonio Calce will take on the role of Vice President and ensure a seamless transition. Meanwhile, Greubel Forsey will remain independently owned under the continued leadership of Robert Greubel, Stephen Forsey, and Antonio Calce.

Timeless Precision: Greubel Forsey’s QP Balancier Redefines the Perpetual Calendar

Greubel Forsey proudly unveils the QP Balancier, a revolutionary interpretation of the perpetual calendar that merges intuitive functionality with uncompromising chronometric performance. Limited to just 22 pieces in white gold, this timepiece represents a new pinnacle in haute horlogerie.

At the heart of the QP Balancier lies Greubel Forsey’s patented Mechanical Computer, a 25-part mechanical brain that “understands” the rules of the Gregorian calendar. This innovation allows the watch to adjust instantly in either direction, restart flawlessly after months unwound, and remain programmed until February 28, 2100—all without the need for pushers or complex crown positions.

The QP Balancier integrates 12 indications—including hours, minutes, seconds, power reserve, day, date, month, leap year, day/night, 24-hour display, calendar year, and a patented function selector—into a single crown interface. This makes it the most user-friendly perpetual calendar ever created, eliminating the need for manuals or reset tools.

Aesthetically, the watch is a study in purity and harmony. Its multi-level gold dial presents calendar information in a clear, linear format, flanked by leap year and day/night indicators. The tactile feedback during quick-correction mode offers a unique sensory connection between wearer and mechanism.

Housed in a 45.1 mm white gold case, the QP Balancier features Greubel Forsey’s signature 30° inclined balance wheel, a high-mass, variable-inertia system with gold mean-time screws. The movement comprises 612 hand-finished components, including twin fast-rotating barrels that deliver a 72-hour chronometric power reserve.

With the QP Balancier, Greubel Forsey has not only redefined the perpetual calendar—it has perfected it.

Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide - Diamonds making waves

Waxing, gibbous, blue: the power of the moon imposes itself on the Earth and even more so, on the seas. Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide celebrates the fluctuating pull of this celestial body on the water. A large moon disc appears over vast waves. Powerful and plentiful, the waves of Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide herald heavy seas. In the blue of the night, the tide is at its highest, and so are the rollers. The moon, capricious and triumphant, imposes its will. The gradations of the water are topped with a sparkling foam. Beneath the peaceful light of Selene, the ocean rages on.

Arnold & Son interprets this powerfully symbolic scene through mechanisms and minerals. The astronomical moon complication of Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide is adorned in mother-of-pearl and ruthenium: a delicate, evocative composition that fully expresses the dial-makers’ expertise. Fully-integrated manufacture brand Armin Strom celebrates 15 years and heads into the future

Armin Strom co-founders Serge Michel and Claude Greisler look back on 15 years of achievements including 17 exclusive movements, patents, unique designs and 97% in-house production depth. 15 years ago, Armin Strom transformed from a one-man show to a fully integrated manufacture brand when entrepreneur Serge Michel and master watchmaker Claude Greisler took over the reins.

Since 2009, the two childhood friends have been dedicating their lives to the science of movement, building up an independent manufacture with a team of 38, including 22 skilled watchmakers able to turn raw steel bars into hundreds of complex, interconnected watch components. So far, this has resulted in 17 brand-unique different calibres with a signature open-worked design divided among the brand’s three main pillars: System 78, Resonance and Masterpiece.

Paired with a contrasting white rubber strap, the Snake wraps around the wrist with smooth, tactile elegance.
