Arnold & Son proudly presents the Longitude Titanium 5°W Edition, a timepiece inspired by the marine chronometers crafted by John Arnold in the late 18th century. These instruments revolutionized navigation and played a pivotal role in the British Navy’s mastery of the seas.

This limited edition of 38 pieces combines grade 5 titanium with an 18K red gold bezel ring, echoing the elegance of historical chronometers. The Lizard Point Grey dial, with its vertical satin finish, evokes the stormy hues of the North Atlantic near Lizard Point—the southernmost tip of mainland Great Britain at 5° west longitude.

Inside beats the A&S6302 calibre, an in-house automatic movement certified by the COSC as a chronometer. It offers a 60-hour power reserve, a power-reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, and a small seconds subdial opposite. Through the sapphire case back, the palladium-plated bridges and skeletonized 22K red gold oscillating weight—engraved with a ship and sextant motif—reveal the artistry of Arnold & Son.

Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Longitude Titanium 5°W features an interchangeable strap system, allowing effortless transition between an anthracite grey alligator leather strap and a titanium bracelet.

Designed for the modern traveler, the GMT Guilloche features a 24-hour time zone ring encircling the dial. A distinctive arrow-shaped hand tracks a second time zone, offering intuitive day-night orientation. Local time is displayed via central hour and minute hands, with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. A dedicated crown at 10 o’clock allows seamless adjustment of the second time zone without affecting the main time.

Inside the watch beats the calibre 100.8, a manually wound movement crafted in-house and regulated in five positions. It features 253 components, 26 jewels, and signature Grossmann innovations including the 2/3 plate with raised gold chatons, cantilevered balance cock with micrometer screw, and a separately removable winding mechanism. The second time zone mechanism is seamlessly integrated on the dial side, ensuring precision and harmony.

These limited edition timepieces—each restricted to just 20 pieces worldwide—introduce vibrant new fumé dials that blend bold aesthetics with technical mastery. A World-First Date Display on Demand

A second press returns the hand to its neutral position, offering a playful yet practical complication powered by a column-wheel mechanism.

Each Orbit model is meticulously hand-finished at Armin Strom’s Manufacture in Biel/Bienne, employing traditional techniques such as anglage, perlage, and circular graining. The watches are housed in a stainless steel case with a fixed ceramic bezel and come with a matching bracelet featuring a double-folding clasp.
