The Angelus Chronographe Médical x Massena LAB is a faithful re-edition of Angelus' iconic 1960s "doctor's watch", designed to measure vital signs in medical examinations. Limited to 99 pieces, this collaboration between Angelus and Massena LAB revives a historically important tool chronograph.
Its 39mm stainless steel case houses the manually wound A5000 movement and features the signature pulsometer and asthmometer scales that give the watch its medical functionality. The pulsometer scale allows reading pulse up to 300bpm, while the inner asthmometer scale measures respiration from 10-40bpm. Remarkably legible with their color-coded scales and large Arabic/ indice markers, these functions push the boundaries of integrated tool watch design.
A surgical-grade stainless steel case, high-contrast silvered opaline dial with luminescent Dauphine hands, and luxurious calfskin strap complete the package. Limited availability captures the exclusivity of the original, while modern updates like an increased case size enhance usability. This re-edition pays tribute to Angelus' innovative horological past for a new generation of collectors and medical professionals.
